Overview

The Stannard Place Centre is an impressive modern building occupying an excellent corner plot conveniently located on Norwich's inner city ring road and in one of its major business districts. Norwich has a diverse and thriving knowledge economy, with a mixture of large global brands and small and medium sized enterprises. The outlook for residential and business growth is positive. It is a major centre for financial services, health and life sciences and the creative and media industries. Other important business sectors include professional services, retailing, construction, specialised engineering, manufacturing and tourism. Over 50 companies have based their national or regional business headquarters in Norwich and around one in four of the Norwich workforce is employed in the financial services industry. The city is particularly well placed to accommodate the predicted shift in the global economy towards an increase in knowledge-intensive industries.
