The distinguished event helped Regus showcase its dynamic solutions to decision makers in risk management

In early June, Regus attended the 2019 AIRMIC Conference in London – a leading event for risk directors from across the globe.

A global conference for best practice in risk management, AIRMIC is a time for industry professionals to come together and share ideas about fortifying corporate contingency, insurance and continuity plans against the challenging backdrop of today’s world.

For Regus, the event was an opportunity to meet risk directors and show them the benefits that incorporating flexible workspace into disaster recovery plans can bring. Regus had a stand on the AIRMIC exhibition floor, which opened up the opportunity for some meaningful conversations with risk managers seeking to upgrade their current plan of action in a worstcase scenario, as well as insurance professionals wanting to find out more about the role flexspace can play.

“The AIRMIC conference is a chance for Regus to engage with risk professionals looking to mitigate risk within their organisation as part of their business continuity plan,” says Helen Petrie, Product and Indirect Channel Manager of Workplace Recovery for Regus.

“It has been a great opportunity to educate people about the workplace recovery options that Regus provides – and to show that Regus is not just an office provider. We can we can be part of their business continuity planning and offer a unique recovery option.”

The theme for AIRMIC 2019 was New World, New Solutions – a fitting topic for discussing Regus’ Dynamic Workplace Recovery product. The conference’s thought leadership sessions brought home the growing complexities of the world today, how social and digital innovations can help businesses in times of crisis and how corporate insurance providers may want to increase the relevance of the options they offer.

“AIRMIC 2019 offered a real opportunity to talk to insurance providers about how they work in a business interruption scenario and how our recovery products can complement that,” says Petrie. “In turn, it was about educating the insurance market – which is selling business interruption insurance – that there are products out there, including Regus’ recovery options, that can assist with lowering claims by having testable business continuity plans in place.”
